Berlin Peck Memorial Library Extended Hours Berlin Peck Memorial Library will be open late on Tuesday through Thursday January 21, 22, and 23 to give you a relaxing space to study for your exams, 8:00-10:00 pm. THIS IS FOR STUDENTS ONLY! The library has group study space, computers, and free Wi-Fi. They'll also have refreshments for you to enjoy while you study, and a therapy dog to help you relax on Tuesday. Student must arrive before 8:00 pm and will not be allowed to re-enter the building once they have left. Any questions call 860-828-7126 or email

IWEM (Inspiring Women in Engineering and Medicine) Interested in a career in the medical field? UConn Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is excited to announce the next workshop. It will take place on Saturday February 22nd, 2020 at the Musculoskeletal Institute at UConn Health in Farmington, Connecticut. We invite females in high school (grades 10-12) in Connecticut to apply. This will be a FREE, four hour hands on workshop and participants will get to perform 3 different mock orthopedic surgeries, hear from prominent women surgeons, and interact with other successful women in the medical field such as engineers, physical therapists, and advanced practicing registered nurses. New Britain Parks & Rec Summer Employment New Britain Parks & Rec is hiring for summer employment and will be at BHS on Monday, January 27th during lunch waves. Please stop by their table, outside the cafe, if you're interested in applying.

True Colors Conference On Friday March 20th there will be a trip to UConn where students can attend the True Colors Conference. This will be an all day event filled with various organized activities. If you have any interest in attending please see Mr. Hanna in room 2123 for a permission slip and any questions! The slips will be due on January 30th so don't miss out!

Connecticut Regional Marketing Conference Interested In A Career In Marketing? On January 31, 2020, Central Connecticut State University will be hosting the Connecticut Regional Marketing Conference entitled Navigating the Future: Innovations in Marketing. There will be two workshops, a case competition, a business professional's panel, and a keynote speaker. If you are interested in attending, please go to Connecticut Regional Marketing Conference; registration is open until Monday, January 27th. Keep in mind the conference is from 9-4.
