Carpe Noctem Updates

The team spent two weeks in July at BHS, working hard to get ahead before the school year began. They are preparing for their October trip to the North American Society for Bat Research's annual conference in Colorado. They were accepted to conduct two poster presentations and one oral presentation at the international conference, and will be one of the only high school groups in attendance. Additionally, the team is gearing up to submit their full utility patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office by the end of this year, which will protect their Intellectual Property for 20 years. Finally, the team is in the midst of their field season, where they have been testing their inventions and collecting data to determine the efficacy of their designs. They are excited to start the 2026-27 school year and are already working hard to accomplish as much as they can!
