Informational Meeting on the Rotary Student Exchange Program

There will be a Rotary International Youth Exchange Program informational session on Tuesday, November 13th at 6:45 pm in the Berlin High Video Amphitheater. Parents of high school students who are interested in traveling are encouraged to attend this meeting to learn more about a semester or summer abroad to another country. Richard Friedman, the Rotary district exchange coordinator, will be there to address the financial cost, insurance, safety, application process, and so much more. Over the past two years, the Berlin Interact Club and local families in the Berlin community have hosted Foreign Exchange Students from Thailand & Chile. This year a Berlin student is studying for the 2018-2019 school year in Finland through this program. Other students from Berlin have participated in the short-term exchange to Italy. This is an amazing opportunity for any student because it gives them the opportunity to travel to another country and learn about different cultures and lifestyles while meeting new people.
